Bulk Domain Checker

Paste a list of up to 100 domains and see at a glance which ones are available, which are taken and what the free ones cost, renewal included. Export the results as CSV.

When to check domains in bulk

  • Brainstorming a brand. Write down twenty candidate names in a few extensions each and check them in one go, instead of typing them into a registrar one by one and getting upsold every time.
  • Shortlists from a name generator. Name generators produce dozens of ideas; most of the good ones are taken. Paste the whole list and keep only what is free.
  • Expiring and dropped domain lists. Lists of domains about to be released go out of date quickly. Check which ones are actually available today.
  • Portfolio housekeeping. Paste the domains you own and confirm they still resolve to you, then open the report on any one to see its expiry date.
  • Link-building prospects. Paste the domains from a backlink export to see which still exist. Expired domains in a competitor's link profile are dead links you will not be able to replicate.

How the bulk check works

Each domain goes through the same three steps as a single search: a DNS lookup that instantly identifies domains in use, the registry's RDAP service for everything else, and WHOIS for the country codes that do not offer RDAP. Six domains are checked in parallel. Rows update as answers arrive, and a summary at the top counts available, taken and unknown results when the list is done.

Available domains show the cheapest first-year price we know of and what that registrar charges to renew. The Compare button opens every registrar's price for that extension, and Register takes you to the registrar's own search page with the domain filled in. Taken domains have a Report button that opens the full domain profile on the home page.

Tips for a faster shortlist

Check the .com first for every candidate, then only expand the free names to other extensions with the single domain search, which checks 22 extensions plus domain hacks at once. Sort the CSV by renewal price rather than first-year price, and say each surviving name out loud to someone who has not seen it written down. If they cannot spell it, your visitors will not either.

Frequently asked questions

How many domains can I check at once?

Up to 100 per search. We check six at a time so that registries do not rate-limit us, which means a full list usually finishes in under a minute. Duplicates are removed automatically.

What format should the list be in?

Anything readable: one domain per line, or separated by spaces, commas or semicolons. Full URLs work too; we strip the https://, the www. and any path. A line without an extension is checked as .com.

Can I export the results?

Yes. When the check finishes, Download CSV saves the domain, its status, the cheapest first-year price and the matching renewal price, ready for a spreadsheet.

Why are some domains Unknown?

Either the registry was rate-limiting lookups at that moment or the extension has no automated lookup we can rely on. Run the list again a minute later; results that were clear are cached, so only the unknown ones are asked again.

Do you keep my list?

No. We do not log searches or lists. Each domain's result is cached for ten minutes without any record of who asked, so that repeated checks do not overload registries.
